Blade in the MCOC has withstood the test of time as being one of the best all around champions. Kabaam has done a great job making him comic accurate. His ability to destroy specific types of Evil characters (villians and Mystics depending on synergies) along with his healing and bleed abilities put him on top of most MCOC player rosters. Blade is by far one of the most powerful fighting through the Battlerealm.
Blade was release in the MCOC on 10/26/2017. He is a skill champion of medium size. Seatin on his monthly ranks at the last time we checked had him ranked at Solid God Tier. For as long as I can remember he has been on the top of the tier list and the only reason he isn’t the top Skill champion in the game is because a few others are just ridiculous. My ranking out of 5 stars is 5 stars. The reason behind this is because he is very simple to play, has a great regen ability and can put out some serious damage with his bleeds and synergies. After years in the game, he is still one of the most used champions. He can save you some serious units on healing potions due to his regen ability. Â
Is Blade worth Rank 5
This one is easy, YES! There are only a few skill champions in the game that are considered better like Nick Fury, Aegon, and Shang-Chi. Blade can get you through a ton of content in the game, save you potions in AQ and is an all around beast. The only think that he is not ranked high in, is War defense….. but who cares he is 100% worth a Rank 5. What are you waiting for?
Blade Pros and Cons
Pros- His bleed damage is great and even throughs bleeds when he gets a perfect block. So in theory you could kill someone with out hitting them. His special 2 is great for throwing multiple bleeds and doing some major damage. His PI is high when you rank him up and get his signature level up. His regeneration is simple and powerful. You basically dash back and hold block. He will regen up to 71% by using his power meter. He can do it as often as you have power so in theory if you have the skill he can stay alive in 90% of all fights. All and all an extremely easy champion to play.
Cons- He does need to be dupped to use his regen which is required to make him great. Also using his synergy with Ghost Rider is almost a must due to how much more powerful he becomes against all villains.
How to fight Blade
Unlike a lot of champions Blade is not much of a defender. If you have a bleed immune champ well you should be able to toast him easily. Bait his Special 1 which is just three dash backs timed correctly. The projectile he throws makes timing easy. Unless you are playing with one hand this should be an easy fight.
Blade MCOC champion Information
Signature Ability-
Vampiric Immortality: Once he is below 70% health holding block will regenerate back up to 70% by using your bar of power. The speed will depend on your signature level.
Passive Abilities-
As he stacks bleeds on opponents, he generates power faster
When his Danger Sense is activated (Against Mystics or Villains depending on Synergies ) his attack rating is increased by 2000+ and the opponent’s ability accuracy is reduced by almost half.
As mentioned before a well timed block will put a bleed on the opponent.
Special attacks-
SP1 just puts a bleed on the opponent dealing around 800 damage for for around 3 seconds.
SP2 which is the one you want to use will give you over 2000 ciritcal raiting. It will also inflict a bunch of bleeds which will generate power. So in general you will stack bleeds, critical hit with serious damage and gain back power as you do it.
SP3 gives a good chance to stuck and puts 3 bleeds on the opponent which last 13 seconds.
